I had C&C 3 when I was still running XP, and it worked fine. Now I have Vista, and it won't start up. It shows an error saying hardware acceleration isn't on or I don't have Direct3D. Obviously I have Direct3D, or else I wouldn't be running any other games, and hardware acceleration must be on, because I'm playing Crysis pretty well. But I can't check on this, because my graphics card's firmware doesn't allow changes to hardware acceleration. The only thing I can think of is that it wasn't meant to run on a 64-Bit operating system, which is true for a lot of games, but its the first that won't run at all. Does anybody have any idea what's keeping me from running this game?
