Ok, I'm getting a Macbook air in July and planning to install sims into it and Windows Vista and forget about my Dell.
Now, I want all my Sims games into it and also keep it Mac.
Now, from what I've read, is that I can install Windows on it, but I haven't heard of reverting it back to Mac.
Can I actually revert it back to Mac?
So, any help?

Windows is installed on a separate hard disk partition. You will have the option of choosing which operating system to boot into -- windows vista or the Mac OS.

Oh, so, when I run my Mac, I can choose which OS to run, then I can go to Windows or Mac.
Oh, sounds simple, but, if I'm currently on Windows, how do I go to Mac?

In Windows on the Mac, there will be a control panel called 'startup disk.' Here is where you can choose whether to boot into OS X or Windows.
You can also hold down option at startup and choose between the two.

If you download and install a program called reefit, it will then give you a nice screen at the beginning that will allow you to chose which operating system.
On the new versions of Bootcamp (the program that allows you to run Windows on your Mac), it replaces the "strartup disk" option with one that says Bootcamp. This will allow you to choose which system to boot into.
To "revert" or get rid of your Windows partition, run the Bootcamp utility again (found in your applications/utilities folder) and then select "Restore Hard Drive to a single volume" which will give you back the hard drive space in OS X.

One thing to be aware of if you want to try Boot Camp on an MBA is the limited hard drive size. 80 GB (assuming you're getting the standard PATA drive and not the expensive 64 GB SSD) ends up as about 75 after formatting, and Mac OS X and apps you will use may take up to at least another 10 or maybe 15 GB. Add in your music, photos, and other documents, and you may be left with 50 GB or less. Virtualization with Parallels or Fusion might be a better option, avoiding the need to partition the already small drive, though you probably won't get the same game performance.
To be honest, if you want to do what you are suggesting, I'd recommend at least a MacBook instead of the MBA for the performance and hard drive size (as well as the ease in upgrading the memory and hard drive).

I never knew you could do that. That's pretty cool. Beats going through the GUI. Thanks!
