Ok so I redid the partition size of my bootcamp and reinstalled Vista now vmware will not pick up which hard drive is my windows boot camp, will someone tell me how to fix this issue? I am running 1.1.3.

Fusion is probably confused because it can't find the old Boot Camp partition anymore (since you resized it). Try deleting the Boot Camp virtual machine in /Users/yournamehere/Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/Virtual Machines/ - it should be recreated with the correct information the next time you run Fusion.
