I love this application and it has saved me a lot of money. I am currently using the demo version and will buy the full version later on. The only Windows application that I ever need is Internet Explorer because my company's webmail will only work with IE no matter what I have tried. Crossover runs IE smoothly and nicely. I am willing to pay for Crossover even though I know that it is essentially a commercial version of WINE. I have saved myself buying a copy of Windows Xp + Parallels/VMWave Fusion because I like running it side-by-side with my Mac.

WINE works so well under Linux that I can't imagine ever needing to think about buying Crossover in Linux. I hope that the Mac version of WINE eventually reaches parity with the Linux version.
