I'm trying to find a solution to boot straight into windows on my macbook. I have a licensed copy of windows, I just need to figure out how to set it up. I've tried parallels and VMware, both seem to run very slow since my hardware is being shared... Are there any solutions where I can run /just/ windows? I don't want to upgrade to leopard either unless it's a last resort, I love tiger lol.

Use boot camp for Tiger, just set your clock back to maybe September 2007. This should allow boot camp assistant to run and facilitate your Windows installation.

And now I get the "Bootcamp can't partition the drive" error. Which requires a complete reinstall/ backup of old files. Its ridiculous how much effort a guy has to go through in order to get a normal computer from apple. Simply ridiculous.

Boot from your MacBook's restore/install DVD and run Disk Utility's Repair Disk function.
When you boot from the DVD, Disk Utility should be an option in one of the menus on the menu bar at the top of your screen.

What sort of "normal" computer dual boots windows and os x?

Boot Camp on tiger isn't supported. Update to leopard.
