Hello. I am running on a MacBook OS X; Version 10.5.5, 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM Memory.
I know this isn't the best set-up for gaming, however I understand it may still work with low-quality settings. The games I am interested in are Counter-Strike: Source (Windows version), Team Fortress 2 (Orange Box, Windows version), and Call of Duty 4 (Windows or Mac version).
I am not looking to purchase Leopard.
What is the best way to go about this? I assume Boot Camp Assistant is the Boot Camp people talk about, to play games on Windows with the Mac? What would run best, for instance, if I were to run Call of Duty 4 through the Mac version or through Boot Camp on the Windows version?
Which game would you recommend from possible personal experience, or possibly not recommend as well?
Thank you for the help!

Okay, a couple of things:
1. 10.5.5 is Leopard
2. 2.4GHz with 2GB of ram is plenty to play games under mac, and enough to play games under XP.
3. Boot Camp allows you to install a FULL copy of windows (XP or Vista) on your Mac. And yes, Boot Camp Assistant is the mac that they talk about, unless its Parallels or VMware (those aren't so good for gaming).
What I have found from experience (though there will be people on here that argue it) is that with Boot Camp installed (with XP), if you have the Mac Version running on the same Mac as the Windows version, it actually runs better on the Mac. Call me crazy, though Im not... lol.

Thank you very much. I didn't know 10.5.5 was Leopard, I thought you had to purchase it or something?
Regarding the Mac vs. Windows statement you made, does that mean that if I were to purchase Call of Duty 4 and I have the choice to buy the Windows or Mac version, you would say Mac is the better choice?
