Hello everyone, I've got a 4g MB that has a 50/50 partition on the hard drive. I'm running the latest OS X on one side and a Vista Ultimate on the other side. It works well, but I find myself in a situation where I'm going to need the space for the Windows partition for a few weeks (traveling). Is there a way for me to save the state of the Windows partition and save (perhaps as a virtual hard drive or something along those lines?) the partition and then move that physical file to a fire server for storage? I'd like to be able to backup just the bootcamp partition so putting it back in place won't be that complicated. After doing this, I'd like to resize the OS X partition to claim the entire hard drive.

Any pointers, even commercial software, will be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

danbrew

The easiest thing with a MacBook? Yank the drive out, put in another one and when you get back, put the original in. Might cost $60 for a 160 drive.

In fact, I have a 120 you could borrow that came out of Vicky's MB Pro.
