Mac Pro has two internal hard disks:

- 600 GB, has Mac OS X 10.5.x installed on it.
- 300 GB, not used, aimed to an eventual Boot Camp setup right now.

Having printed the Boot Camp User's Guide I find annoying any of the partitions shown read either Boot Camp, NTFS or Hell's Door… So I guess the one who reads 305044 MB is actually the hard disk where I safely can install XP, right?.

And what's E?, some sort of partition made by the Boot Camp Assistant?, if so I guess Disco 305243 is indeed my Boot Camp internal hard disk.

The one labeled "C:" is your Windows partition. The E: partition is indeed something BC creates, but it's nothing to worry about or mess with. I believe F: is your OS X partition.

Thanks Glenn, I guess F is listed as empty ('libres' is spanish for available as free hard disk space), cause Windows can't read the Mac filesystem out of the box. Anyhow, I am going to back up some stuff to that red LaCie brick…which is going to take forever since the thing is USB2.

All right, C partition was indeed where Windows had to be installed. All went (sort of) fine, I had to restart something like five or six times alone to get stuff installed and there are still some annoyances but I guess it is OK until I can delete it sooner than later.
