Dude, this is a Mac forum. What are you thinking ?
Why don't you ask this question on specific PC boards, or cell phone boards ?

Chill, turtle. This IS something that is applicable. There are, unfortunately, a LOT of phones (especially Samsung and LG) that are not at all supported under OS X, but have extensive support under Windows-this is a reason a lot of Mac users even bother with Boot Camp.
Michael, I'm sorry I can't offer any help that would be directly useful to you. I would do a few things that should help you at least get into the ballpark, though. First off, it looks like there's an issue with the Samsung installer not seeing the Vista version correctly, and/or not getting initialized correctly. With ANY Windows software install, the first thing to do is reboot the computer and don't start ANY other programs. The second thing to do is, when it asks you to restart, DO IT. Those two things together can fix a multitude of problems...
The second thing I'd do is to download the software again. Their Download Center for the A411 is the best source for their software, and even if you already downloaded it from there, do it again. Goofs in downloads still happen, and unfortunately Windows, even Vista, doesn't do well in letting the user know when there's a problem with a download or an installer.
Good luck with this, and please let us know what Samsung says. Visiting the Howard Forums' Samsung pages may also be extremely helpful.

Well, if you say so.

So, by that logic, anything that can't be done under OS X should be posted in the "Alternative Operating Systems" forum ?
Any Windows issues at all ?
Any Windows 3rd party app questions ?
And, btw, if a longtime 'NN member asks this, I wouldn't be irritated.
But someone, who just signed up in a *Mac* forum, to ask that very specific *PC/Windows* question, that's a bit odd to me...

Hi, it could be a lack of space in your temp folder, issue. Try clearing out the contents of your temp folder and re-install.
