I just installed Windows 7 on my 27" iMac with the new video drivers from Apple, I followed the instructions on how to install them with a flash drive.. Now that Windows 7 is up and running, I want to install bootcamp 3.1, I downloaded it and tried running it but it won't run. I am assuming that I first have to install bootcamp 3.0 from the Snow Leopard disc and then upgrade to 3.1. my question is, if I install boot camp 3.0, won't it revert to the video drivers that are o the disc and when I reboot I'll just have a black screen? How exactly do I install bootcamp now so I don't have that problem. Thanks in advance

Why would you have a blank screen? Have you had a previous issue with the drivers?

I have à 27 too, Windows 7 do have trouble with the original driver which makes the screen go black if you do not update with bootcamp, and doing the update is hard without seeing anything! :-)

there are other workarounds though, like booting with win7 cd, choosing repair with prompt, and fr.o.m. There remove the ati drivers.
