I am unable to send a music file in windows live messager for MSN. I use to just click on the file and drag to the contact I was IM at the time but now all I see when I try to drag the file is that little black circle with a line through it showing I'm unable to. New to pc use in general so all help would be greatly appreciated. My operating system is windows 7.

Try using Adium, then use the Send File command.
