If the version you have is 3.03, or you can get access to the updater, it will run Win2K.

I can't find that updater anywhere - any idea where I can get it?

Speaking of which… I had tried to install Windows 2000 under VPC 7 but the MDD optical drive doesn't work (running XP under same VPC7). Actually, it is like the optical drive was not present at all. I was wondering if there is a way to convert a W2000 image from either Parallels Desktop or VMware Fusion to VirtualPC 7. There are tools to convert from VirtualPC to Parallels Desktop & VMware Fusion, but the other way, I fear not.
I would like to fix the optical drive issue, that's all as I guess W2000 would be a bit faster than XP.

This belongs in the Alternative OS forum. I'll move it there.
