Hi.

i have a mackbook white, i have osX 10.6.4.

i tryed to partitionate my 250GB HDD whit bootcamp to install windows 7, i ran bootcamp normally and set 70 GB for win, it started partitioning my drive but it took like 2 hours and didnt finished the partition, then the whole system crashed.

i restarted the mac, but now im missing those 70GB and the bootcamp partition doesnt appear anywhere.

i dont know what to do please help!!!

When you say you partitioned your drive, did you use Disk Utility or Boot Camp Assistant (which is what you should have used if you didn't)?

Are you saying that now Disk Utility doesn't see the 70 GB in the Partitioning tab?

i was using boot camp assistant to make a partition for windows when the system crashed.

but i fixed that, using disk utility from macOS installation disk.
was extremely simple! i love apple!

FYI Disk Utility is also on your internal hard drive under /Applications/Utility/Disk Utility

Often it's important to use DU from the install disc, as some partitioning problems affect the partition table, and thus the whole disk.

This is true. For 10.5 and later less so, but still holds.
