I use VM's for developing on linux servers mainly, but want to play around with some DE's available for linux. I have Fusion v2 now and it's time to upgrade.

I hate that the mac toolbar drops down when the mouse is at the top of the screen. I know it's a minor UI issue, but it's basically a deal breaker for me, since I like the toolbar at the top and I like to throw my mouse around the screen.

Do either of the recent versions of Parallels/Fusion have an option to kill this behaviour? Essentially, I want to switch focus only via key combo.

Thanks...

I can only assume you are talking about full screen mode. In Parallels 5, the Mac menu bar does not appear at all in full screen mode. I don't even think there is an option to change this behavior.

Thanks Steve, I was talking about full screen mode. That's the behaviour I was hoping for...
