Hi fellow forumers, I need some help for my new macbook pro.
I installed a Win XP Prof Sp2 on the bootcamp. My macbook pro is new with bootcamp version 3.1.1 (bought a week ago on sept 2010).
Apparently, everything was fine until i inserted my mac leopard OS x disc to install the drivers. Installing Nvidia drivers, etc was fine. Until near the end whereby it was installing Sigmatel Audio Drivers than it crashed with a blue screen really quick unable to catch what were the wordings and it auto-rebooted immediately. Wondering if any forumers can help me out?
Thanks in advance

Also, my Windows is unable to connect to the router, however on the mac OS it is able to connect well.
It says Windows is unable to get a certificate for the "wifi name". When I tried unticking the IEEE and enterin the pw on WPA(PSK) , it says that there is limited or no connectivity. Thus making the wifi from my office worthless. (It is able to work at home). I know this is probably router/connection issue. But just wondering if anyone have got some ideas on how to solve it. Thanks. Or is it due to the fact the airport is not updated yet for windows?

You could try booting into Safe Mode and run chkdsk from the terminal, see if that fixes any problems with Windows. Then try reinstalling the video drivers.
As for the wireless, is there an option to Trust the certificate anyway?

Welcome to our forums!!!
I'll bet the Leopard version of Boot Camp's drivers are at fault. You need drivers that go with the latest version of Boot Camp. If you meant "Snowleopard," that's a different issue...I'd try again after a hard reboot of Windows.
Your network issue is almost certainly also due to the drivers-not having the correct driver for the network system in your MBP can keep it from connecting in Windows.
Finally, I'll bet your wireless network is running WPA2-which is NOT supported by WinXPSP2 without an update. On the other hand you can install SP3 (free download) which will fix the WPA2 issue nicely.
Again, welcome to our forums!

That may be a possibility. It must be poorly documented because this question comes up all the time. You need to use the disc that came with the Macbook to install the proper Windows drivers.
As for the wireless network, install SP3, and that should solve your connection problem once the proper drivers are loaded from your install disc.
