Imagine-someone who hates Windows making a rude video about how he hates Windows... I wonder if he knows he's parodying himself. Or maybe he's just that way all the time.

I edited the link name and thread title for "fair warning" to casual surfers.

Great stuff. He should review software for a living. He is most eloquent in his analysis.

I'm pretty happy with Win7 myself although the gui leaves a bit to be desired. Turning off Aero leaves you with a single choice for a window theme. I find that a little lame.

What bugs me the most about Win7 is the "solution" Microsoft came up with for DLL Hell. They call it side-by-side assemblies and it results in a huge amount of disk space being used up. Just check out the size of your C:Windows\winsxs folder. For those of us running on an SSD or in a VM it's impossible to keep the size of the installation down. In my development Win7 VM over 25% of the disk usage is on account of the winsxs folder. Add to that the C:Windows\installer folder and it's a full 1/3 of my disk usage.
