Something came up at work and I was wondering if someone with bootcamp and Windows could help me a little since we use PCs at work and I don't have a windows partition at home.

I'm trying to find out if System Profiler shows the motherboard serial number. Ah la

Apple menu -> About this Mac -> click the gray OS version number twice.

Yeah, that's the system serial number from system profiler. The question is, is that the same as the motherboard serial number reported by Windows WMI

No clue. But I seriously doubt Apple programs any type of separate serial number for this since Boot Camp is just a feature that allows you to run Windows with the same hardware, which is already identified by the Apple serial number. Are PC serial numbers supposed to be in a certain format?

Maybe it would help us to know why you need this information.
