Hi all,

just want to ask
whether SN existing windows vista PC can not be used on another PC? if the main PC already not using windows vista. I have a PC and have broken windows vista original SN and intend to move to a new PC.

Moving thread to alternative OS.

If you got your Windows pre-installed when you bought a new computer, it is locked to that computer and cannot be moved. If you bought Vista new on a disc (and not an upgrade), it can be moved, but you may have to do the activation via phone.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

it looks like it's attached to the PC. I do not buy it separately. ah, looks like I have to let go. :'(
