'm interested in learning and playing with linux as a second os.
so before i spent the money to buy an old pc i thought i'd try demo-ing mandrake linux using virtual pc on my 500mhz g3 powerbook.
but i cant seem to get the graphic desktop environments to install properly.
i think its a problem when the installer promps me to select a graphics card but i may be wrong.
so does anyone know how to make linux run on virtual pc on a powerbook?

hmm, I am not sure what the problem is.
I installed mandrake on VPC and I think I just let the installers choice be the monitor

select "s3 trio 32". do not deselect "aurora" in the package selection.

what are the specific errors?
