So I got Yellow Dog Linux 2.0 installed and I want to upgrade to the latest version(2.2.x)/kernel. How do I go about doing this? Any solutions without burning another CD with the latest ISO?

I have 2.2 from the FTP server but I read on the site there is somethig called YUP---Yellowdog Updater. Their site wasn't very helpful in running it but someone else might know the answer. FWIW though, I'd grab the ISO, just to be safe too. I think it upgrades itself like OS X...not sure though.

YUP is run from the command line. I prefer to use apt-get though.

There's no YUP installed on my system. I'm on a basic install of Yellow Dog Linux 2.0 . No X-Windows either.

It will upgrade everything for you. Also, if you do, don't forget to backup
