I just installed Linuxppc 2000 on my G4 450 AGP after some struggling, everything works fine now, although for some reason it seems like it's in 256 color mode or something, everything is all pixelly(is that a word?). Can some one tell me how to increase the colors, i'm kinda new to linux, thanks.

try running Xconfigurator. you can choose resolution/color depth

I tried playing around with Xconfigurator although it doesn't seem to like any of the monitors or setings I select. I have a Apple multiple scan 17 hooked up with a mac to vga adapter, might that be the problem. Any other things for me to try? could I manually enter my settings in a file somewhere? thanks for the help so far
