this'll probably be thrown in old systems and clones.
But i received a free Power Mac 5400 from my dad yesterday and i have two issues:
1. if there are any G3/G4 upgrades for it and how much it would cost.
2. what upgrade cards Linux accepts or recognizes?
i don't beleive in ghosts....but i never said i wasnt afraid of them.

I would recommend checking out www.sonnettech.com. I bought an G3 upgrade for my 6500, and they have somewhere in the first couple pages (under 'products' or something similar) a way to find out what's available on your model.

As far as running Linux, I was just told about YellowDogLinux.com, who claims that it will run on any PowerPC.

Hope that helps.
