I just installed Yellow Dog Linux on my Performa 6400. The graphical installer terminated for some reason while it was starting X windows, so I just went ahead with the text installer and everything installed fine. However, when I logged in and typed "startx" I got a signal 11 caught error, right after it says something about loading the mouse. I can be more specific and go back through my X logs if necessary, please help.

This could be for many reasons but most likely its your graphics card. What are you using?
