Would I gain anything in performance from using Linux instead of Mac OS X? I just use the iBook (wirelessly) to access email in my office and browse the web. With only a 66 MHz system bus it feels a bit sluggish, especially compared to my TiBook. My iBook has a 10 GB hard drive and 384 MB RAM. I need to keep AirPort access so this is a deal breaker if Linux doesn't support it. I'm open to suggestions on what flavor of Linux I should run, if I should at all. I know this is a real general question, but bear in mind I know absolutely nothing about Linux. I mean really nothing!
