Hi. I tried to install mandrake8 ppc on my os x partition (2gb). It gave an error, and I found 16gb of my 20gb drive to be missing. Luckily, I had backed up the hour before .

now, instead of installing on my main disk, I would like to install on an old one. It is scsi though. Mandrake sees the scsi card in around the third question, but later does not see the disk in the partition selector (diskdrake?).

I'm not going through the partition install again, but does mandrake only see ide properly? What do you guys say? Is there a way to make it use my card and see my scsi disk, or should I buy a crappy old ide drive for cheap and use it?
