I'm looking for a three button USB mouse that will run under both Mac OS 9.2.2 and Yellow Dog Linux 2.2.
The Mac is a 350Mhz G4 AGP.
Any suggestions, recommendations or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom

I personally like the cordless optical mice from logitech. They work great, and I've had an optical microsoft moust that crapped out on me. The logitech (three that I've had) have worked great. Their older model mice were a bit large to handle (not as comfortable) but are much better in their recent releases.

I'm using a cordless Logitech 3 button (2+ plus clickable scroll wheel) in Mac OSX, 9.2, 9.2 and SuSE Linux 7.1.

It works best in OS9, but OSX is decent -- scroll wheel works in IE 5.1.

I was a little surprised it was just ready to rock and roll in Linux with no extra work. Scroll wheel doesn't work in some browsers.

Generally happy with it especially since my 5-btn optical kensington crapped out on me.

and if you can find one that's optical AND cordless like Bluedog did, then so much the better, faster, and lighter.
