I know I can run Redhat on the VPC, but how about Mandrake?
It should run fine, doesn't it?

No, it won't. That version of Red Hat has been tailored specifically to use VPC. Madrake 8.1 craps out.

Actually, I've been successfully running Mandrake 8.1 on the VPC at no problem.
