I'd like to purchase Suse PPC 7.3 for Borland Kylix development on my mac (G4 800 with Geforce 2).
Suse states that these machines especialy the Geforce is not supported.
Now will that mean that the GUI (xfree86, kde) won't work at all or only that graphiccard acceleration won't work.

Greatly appreciate any help on that one.

(sorry for any bad english)

Well, as far as i know the only distribution giving support of nvidia geforce 2 is yellowdog 2.1 that you can purchase or dload freely from the net. I am using it on an 867 Mhz G4 with nvidia geforce 2 Mx. The ssupport is not that good, but i know there are people around working on the driver...no acceleration till now, cause nvidia released accelleation drivers just for linux x86
