STAGE 8 (last) OF YAST2 INSTALLATION - NETWORK CONFIGURATION

2. What exactly is the problem?

system freezes when YAST2 begins Network Configuration, and
freezes 14% into saving file: /etc/modules.conf

3. Which hardware do you use (especially hardware related to the problem, such as the graphics card, monitor, printer, ISDN card, etc.).

iMac G3 400 DV 320 MB RAM
Built in Ethernet,
