I have a QuickSilver 867 with the GeForce3, and it makes my installation of YDL alsmost useless since all of the colors are messed up. Is there any other distro that does support the GeForce3, or is there a way to get drivers for the GeForce3 for YDL. They came close to fixing it in YDL 2.1, but so cigar.

What XFree86 does YDL use? PErhaps updating the XFree may do the trick. You could also compile the new nVIDIA drivers and see what those do for you. Visit the nVIDIA site or XFree86.org to find out what sort of support there is for the GeForce3 and their suggestions to get your card working to it's optimum.

Not sure what XFree86 YDL uses, i'll get back to you on that. But I've looked at nvidia and xfree86.org and I only see drivers for the gf3 with PC BIOS, and nothing for ones with Mac BIOS. I guess I'll just have to wait for Terrasoft to support the GF3.

Hi, I have the same problem with Q867&Nvidia trying to run YDL. Did you find a solution to the problem? I would be glad to know.

Change the driver in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 to "nv" with pico. Then you will have 16 bit color.
