Hello!

I installed Suse Linux 7.1 on an old 7600/132. (it will be used as a Netatalk/Samba-FileServer). I also have two 10/100 Network Cards lying around (Asante and SMC 9342). Is there a way to use one of these cards with Linux? I canīt find drivers for the Asante, and the SMC ones only give me an error message about the machine type (so I think they are for x86 only...)

Bye, Frido.

I would recommend visiting their support site. I couldn't find the info on their site but their support seems pretty good.

I'm pretty down on their support. I got no response, when I tried to get some help on the SuSE installation freezing during network configuration. And the email newsgroup seems to have vaporized.

Will try Mandrake instead.
