... to satisfy the existence of iPad apps?

It's midnight and I'm over-compulsive so, you know, I'm just sayin'.

Good point. It probably should, yes.

(And being past-midnightedly compulsive myself, this ought to be in Feedback. )

What would you suggest as a name? It would be good to keep it short, and of course the idea is to keep it inclusive, but what says "apps for iPhone and iPad" to you?

I suggest iPhone, iPod, & iPad Apps.

I also suggest you do it before September, so Kyle gets a chance to suggest another title change when the iTV comes out.

I apologize. I realized shortly after writing this that "duh" must be a turtle mating call.

I'll let Glenn speak for himself, but while I'm terribly flattered that you are interested in mating with me I'm afraid I must decline, I just don't think that you're my type.

The only downside to ‘iOS Apps’ is that many people might not know that the OS used on iProducts is called iOS.

Since we have a hardware forum called ‘iPod, iPhone & iPad’, we should perhaps reflect that with a software forum called ‘iPod, iPhone & iPad Apps’. Even users who know next to nothing about their gadget and don’t know what “iOS” means should at least know what their gadget is called. If they don’t, they’re beyond help, anyway, and won’t figure it out no matter what the forum is called.

Edit: Duh.

I agree, but there will be argument about whether that order is appropriate too...

Nobody’s complained thus far, have they?

Plus, it’s in chronological order (and, er, reverse alphabetical order), which is perfectly justifiable.

Vote for iOS Apps from me. If its called iPhone, iPad and iPod touch Apps then its going to have to change again whenever they bring out a new iOS device, whether its an Apple TV, 7" iPad mini, iPod shuffle touch (ooh er!) or iPad Pro Air Extreme Mini 4GS

Look after my manor, or I will bum you, literally, to death.
