iPad + Powerpoint Question

Hi all.

I would like to be able to use the iPad to view a powerpoint presentation (with notes) and have it somehow control a powerpoint presentation on a Windows PC in the classroom with me, but have it not display notes there. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Is there a reason that Slideshow Remote wouldn't work?
