Hi

Has anyone found an application that can play video files that come as an attachment to a weekly email report? I have tried Buzz and Azul and neither has been able to play the video attachment. I've also tried navigating to the web page where the weekly video report is available using the browser in Azul and Buzz also with no luck. I guess the videos need flashplayer support. When I download them on my laptop they are mpeg 4 files. Quite frustrating!

Thanks for the reply!
I can't find VLC player in the US or Australian iTunes stores. Is it still available? Is there VLC player that goes by a different name?

oops. My mistake. I got confused and didn't see you were posting in the iPhone forum.
You can't play flv files on an iPhone. They don't do flash.

Thanks for that.
After your 1st reply I did a google search of VLC player for iPhone and found this webpage that said a VLV player was availabe at one stage:
VLC Player for iPhone 4, 3GS now available for free | iPhone World
(sorry it's not a hyperlink - can't seem to work out how to put one in this post).
However, like you mentioned in your 2nd reply, when I followed the link on this page, iTunes said the application wasn't available.

The VLC player was pulled from the App Store after one of the developers claimed a licensing violation.
