Clicking on a headline to jump to the HTML version of the page is so agonizingly slow, I have to really want to read it to be bothered. It makes feeds from places like Reddit worthless.

Some quick Googling didn't reveal any speed complaints, so now I'm wondering if my copy is jacked somehow. Do y'all have the same experience?

It seems about the same as if I loaded it in Safari to me. Gizmodo loads a little slow, but that's only because their redesign crams a bunch of crap in there.

Now that I'm playing around, this may be a Reddit specific problem.

So, have you solved it out? Or you still facing the same problem? My only concern is, if you have really come out with any solution, do share here. I was facing the same but its now working properly w/o any effort, and i m not even sure what was the problem..

Well, my solution has been to blow Reddit out of my Google Reader account and use a dedicated app.

Most of the other feeds I read don't really require a jump, so I'm not noticing the problem, such as it is.
