Your whole argument was built around the fact that identical functionality has been around for years and other systems. First you argued that the Flash caching of the Momentus XT drives was the same thing; then you argued that it was just RAIDing, and after that I lost interest.

It would seem pretty obvious that FD could be enabled by installing a similar hardware setup and switching on the OS function.
Nobody ever argued that it couldn't, and you certainly didn't argue about it.

oh, and what I have always said has and is true. What is there to argue about really? Two separate technologies working as one. Really... I gave you different examples how this is done.

Yes, you did. In fact, i listed your examples in my very post. None of them works the way the Fusion Drive does.

ok, and did you know you can implement scripts to your hearts desire to achieve what you want out of OSX? The possibilities are endless due to included underlying tech behind OSX. Think automation... my favorite.

I don't know if they still do it but Sky Sports used to do an 'Alternative Commentary' audio track for their coverage of football matches where one fan of each of the teams involved had won a competition to be there "commentating" It always devolved into slanging matches. Hilarious.
