This week at Apple's online store, find savings on refurbished iMacs and current-generation iPod nanos. A $200 price drop is offered on the refurbished 21.5-inch iMac with a 2.7GHz Intel quad-core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive, now $1,099. A 21.5-inch iMac released in May of 2011 with a 2.7GHz Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive has been reduced by $310 to $1,189.

Save $400 on the refurbished 27-inch iMac with a 3.1GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive, now $1,599. The refurbished sixth-generation iPod nano is available in 8GB or 16GB configurations for $99 and $119 respectively in green, pink, silver, blue, orange or graphite. People still have yellow screens and now there is a grey smudge issue that is happening on all 2009-2011 iMacs. If it isn't currently happening to your machine, it will in the future. The hot-running hardware is too close to an improperly shielded screen. Apple has tried replacement screens with several people's iMacs, and they have had the problem again or it has gotten worse. Apple hasn't officially acknowledged the problem. But there needs to be a recall. I posted a few petitions online, one at change.org. Not sure if I can post them here, but please read up on this issue before buying these iMacs. They are defective.
