Adobe has pushed a new version of Muse
to Creative Cloud subscribers. The software allows designers to create websites without any programming; along those lines, one addition is the concept of hierarchical Master pages, which can be applied to other Master pages and dictate the positioning of elements such as headers, footers, logos, and navigation options. A new Check Spelling option, meanwhile, scans sites for writing errors.
When in Preview mode, Muse will now show portrait and landscape orientations for tablet and smartphone sites, and in export, publishing can be done to a specific host subdirectory. Elsewhere Adobe has tweaked the software with a variety of bugfixes, compatibility updates, and performance improvements.
Creative Cloud with access to Muse costs at least $20 per month, excluding educational discounts. A Complete plan, with access to every Adobe app, is $50 per month. Special group rates are also available.
