Apple-owned FileMaker has announced some schedule highlights for the 2013 FileMaker Developer Conference
, scheduled for August 12th through the 15th at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront hotel. Participants will get to see demonstrations by FileMaker and other exhibitors, and network with fellow users of the software. This year FileMaker has added a new Design track with 11 sessions, plus a Business track with nine sessions.
A Core track is returning, likewise with nine sessions. Other available instruction programs include FileMaker Go, with eight sessions; Developer, with 16; Integration/Web has seven sessions, while the FileMaker Training Series has 10. Despite the additions this year FileMaker says it is focusing on Go, with topics like data collection and deploying a mobile database in less than an hour.
Through June 18th, earlybird pricing for a standard conference pass is $1,295. After that date the price will rise $300. Also available at the moment is a $1,895 Gold pass, which is required for access to the FileMaker Training Series and pre-conference sessions. All passes include a free copy of FileMaker Pro Advanced.
