Apple has released a completed v10.8.4 update
for OS X Mountain Lion. The release solves numerous issues, such as compatibility problems when connecting to enterprise Wi-Fi networks, and support for Microsoft Exchange in Calendar. FaceTime calls should now properly connect to non-US phone numbers, and Macs should go to sleep after using Boot Camp.
PDF compatibility has been improved for VoiceOver narration. Also included in the update are fixes for various security vulnerabilities, in components such as CoreAnimation, CoreMedia, QuickTime, and OpenSSL. Apple mentions that beginning with v10.8.4, Java Web Start apps must be signed with a Developer ID certificate.
Bundled with the update is a new version of Safari, 6.0.5. The code so far only appears to fix four security issues in the browser's underlying WebKit engine.
The v10.8.4 update is available through the Mac App Store.
