This week in the MacNN forums, members discuss the reliability of the Hierarchical File System used by Apple after "besson3c" reported some troubling errors with Time Machine. Yesterday, one Mac Elite turned to the forums looking for a solution for a problem with saving files from a Mac to a Windows server.

Grizzled Veteran "PeterParker" is looking for a new USB charging cable, but can't seem to figure out what cable is needed and has turned to the forums for some assistance. "CharlesS" is looking for beta testers for a new version of the software title "Pacifist" and is looking specifically for people with Snow Leopard or Mavericks. One long-time member of the forums is looking for suggestions on what the best operating system and upgrades would be for a Blueberry iBook.
