to produce the writer's first foray into video games -- a "puzzle/adventure game hybrid" called Wayward Manor

Yahoo has brought out its 2013 version of its Fantasy Sports app
(free) for iOS just in time for the upcoming NFL season, and now offers mobile drafting -- allowing users to pick players and participate in live chats on the mobile app. The changes also include a refreshed design and the usual performance and stability enhancements. There is also a "mock draft" feature to allow picked "players" to practice before the season begins. The company says it will eventually fold the currently-separate basketball, baseball and hockey fantasy apps into this one.
Vue 11.5 xStream and Infinite get Personal Learning Editions
E-on Software has announced that free Personal Learning Editions
(PLEs) of its 3D environment-creating programs Vue 11.5 xStream and Infinite are now available. The xStream program is a plug-in
designed to work with existing 3D tools such as Maya, 3ds Max, Softimage and others. The Vue Infinite program is a standalone application.
The PLE editions are fully functional and never expire, but scenes created with the program cannot be exchanged with other PLE users and aren't compatible with other versions of Vue. In addition, the PLE license is strictly for personal, non-commercial use only. The new PLE editions feature faster rendering, illumination caching, terrain and EcoPainter improvements, 360-degree population, Camera Management improvements and more.
