This week in the MacNN forums, anticipation is building ahead of the Apple event on September 10, which will likely see the debut of the next-generation iPhone. A discussion about what kinds of Firewire audio interfaces can be used with a MacBook Air was started yesterday when Posting Junkie "ebuddy" started a thread explaining a potentially big mistake they just made.

In the thread titled "The Full Apple," Clinically Insane forum member "subego" is looking for a Mac-friendly solution for Apple users who are trying to create, open and edit the types of files typically used by MS Word. One confused member is trying to figure out why .pdf files are opening in B&W in Preview and asks "Is this a problem with Preview?"

"How do I install a a PowerLogix ZIF card in a B&W G3?" asks Mac Enthusiast "ValVashon" which sparked a continuing conversation with helpful tips on how to solve this problem.
