GOG.com has announced the launch of a new indie developer portal
for the distribution of both Mac and Windows titles. Providing an alternative to Apple's Mac App Store, developers are given the choice between a 70/30 pay split -- identical to Apple's offering -- or an advanced royalty option. Choosing the advance option results in the pay-split dropping to 60/40 until it is repaid in full, after which royalties revert to 70/30. GOG also promises to promote every release through the website's main feature, as well as through its social networks including Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.Magnus Mini iPad mini stand now available
The Magnas Mini, a new stand for the iPad mini, has been launched by Ten One Design. Like its full-size counterpart, the Magnus Mini
uses a magnetic link to hold an iPad in place without adding much bulk. The stand supports the device in the landscape orientation and uses a rubberized finish to protect against any scratching. The Magnus Mini can be purchased online for $30.
