Fox Sports has confirmed that it will stream this year's Super Bowl, as it has the past two years. Super Bowl XXVIII -- featuring Bruno Mars' halftime show -- will stream online from Fox Sports' steaming site as well as its iOS app at 6:30PM ET on February 2.

Beginning January 5, Fox Sports will stream its NFC coverage. The Fox Sports GO app can be downloaded from iTunes for iPhone and iPad.

Currency Assistant 3.1.12 released, offers Latvian lats, removes Zimbabwe dollar conversion

A currency conversion calculator for OS X, Currency Assistant, has received an update. Able to convert between 174 world currencies and automatically update exchange rates over the Internet using rates published by major international banks, version 3.1.12 introduces a Latvian lats (LVL) Euro conversion rate (€1 = 0.702804 LVL) after the Euro replaced the lats as legal tender on January 1. Additionally, the update has officially deleted of the Zimbabwe dollar, which was suspended indefinitely in April 2009. The Zimbabewean government legalized the use of foreign currencies after runaway inflation destroyed the value of the native dollar, and now all transactions are in foreign currencies.

Currency Assistant is now 50 percent off, and available for $9 for new users, or $5 for Euro Assistant Pro registered users. Registered v3 users can obtain the latest update for free. Currency Assistant can be downloaded from MaBaSoft.

Really? Fox is going to stream Superbowl XXVIII, a game that was played in January of 1994? Maybe 20 years from now they'll get around to showing us Superbowl XLVIII, this year's Superbowl.
