Mixvibes has introduced the newest version of its cross-platform software
, Cross DJ v3.1.0. The software provides users with the tools needed to DJ, such as browsing track catalogues, and monitoring playing track's peaks and phrasings. The new version allows for the ability of users to record their mix and share it on Mixcloud and Youtube, as well as Dailymotion.
CrossDJ generates a video file, and the video displays in real time what the track is playing, the name of the artist and the artwork associated with the track when working with Youtube and Dailymotion; with Mixcloud, users can export their mix, and Cross DJ automatically publishes a smart tracklist; and with SoundCloud, Cross DJ writes tracks names as a comment above the waveform. New equalizer presets and effects are available, and images are now managed like video files. Additionally, GIFs and BMPs and be animated, and new video transitions include "Push Swap" and "Wipe Rainbow". Pricing for Cross DJ v3.1.0 is available for $50, and Cross, the full pro DJ software, is priced at $130.
Mixvibes is celebrating the release by throwing a DJ competition, in conjunction with Mixcloud, Allen & Heath, and Creative and Nüba. Prizes for the top five entries include a flight to Paris and a DJ set at Nüba, and various gear from its sponsors. Those interested in entering are required to "like" Mixvibes, Soundblaster, Allen & Heath and Nuba Paris on Facebook; upload a 30-minute house music mix onto a Mixcloud profile; and tag the mix "Mixvibes 2014 DJ competition." Trials Frontier motorcycle game now available for iOS
Ubisoft has announced that Trials Frontier, a free-to-play mobile title from RedLynx and its Trials series, is now available through the iTunes Store
. A futuristic motorcycle racing game, players can compete against their friends on global leaderboards, and succeed in challenges against top riders for the best race times.
In addition to racing is over 50 hours of gameplay, where players can explore the game's world and story line, and choose from 10 different environments, over 250 challenging missions, and more than 70 unique tracks. Users can also connect with Trials Fusion through Frontier, which is due to be released on April 16 on console and April 24 on PC, and can gain access to bonus rider gear and see what some of the tracks looked like at an earlier time period. Trials Frontier requires iOS 6.1 or later.
