Mobile device management company LocknCharge has announced a new and more compact Carrier 30 Cart -- a product that can store, charge and protect mobile devices in a school setting. The cart is capable of charging up to 30 devices, features up to six baskets of five devices each, and is designed to enable several people to access it simultaneously. Its new center-channel system holds all the device cables in place, and offers improved setup. Its soft-closing, sliding lid closes quietly, and can secure up to 30 Chromebook, tablet or iPad devices and the baskets stored inside. Priced at $1,800, volume discounts on purchasing the Carrier 30 cart are available.

Sighthound released new version of Sighthound Video

Sighthound has released the latest version of its advanced home video surveillance software, Sighthound Video v2.2. Sighthound Video has the ability to detect and differentiate humans from animals or other objects, and greatly reduce the number of false positives and unnecessary alerts sent to users. Sighthound Video v2.2 offers improved easier installation, with new user accounts providing buyers with access to the full Pro license version of the product. Improvements to GUI have been made, and include easier reviewing of HD camera clips. Rewrites to the OS X webcam library feature improved CPU utilization, and added support for new built-in camera models is included for MacBook Air mid-2013, MacBook Pro late-2013, and iMac late 2013 and newer. Featuring three versions, the Start version is free, and its Basic and Pro editions add HD video, multiple cameras, remote access, export to the cloud, custom scripts and more, priced at $60 and $250 respectively.
