HTC has created an upgraded version of one of its handsets for Taiwan. The
One S Special Edition has a new white case, and comes with Android Jelly Bean preloaded onto its 64GB of storage space, though other specifications reveal it to have most of the same internals as a normal
One S.
The display is still a 4.3-inch screen with a resolution of 960x540 and a Gorilla Glass coating. Processing is provided by the same dual-core Snapdragon S4 chip running at 1.5GHz supported by 1GB of RAM, and the rear-facing camera continues to capture eight-megapixel images. Despite the
corporate changes, Beats Audio is still included, complete with a red logo on the back of the phone.
Though a release in Taiwan is confirmed, there has not been any mention of the HTC One S Special Edition being released in other markets, or even in other colors but keeping the storage upgrade.
