Nuance Communications has,
once again, released a beta of its Swype keyboard for Android devices. Those who download it will now have access to the latest slang and trending words with an auto complete-like suggestion feature. To get the hotwords, users will need to sign up for updates, however.
There is also the ability to save preferences and settings and share them across multiple devices thanks to the Backup and Sync feature. There are two new tablet keyboard layouts available in the latest beta, including a moveable keyboard and a split one. At the same time, 10 new keyboard themes are also available.
The app learns a users input habits, so the more it's used the more it can predict commonly uses words.
Finally, the Chinese language keyboard gets more features, while Japanese gets a Flick keyboard.
The software can be downloaded from Nuance's
beta site.
