Apple has pulled prostitutes from Siri search results in China, according to the Times of India. In response to user queries in the region, Siri will now reportedly answer with "I couldn't find any escort services." An Apple customer service representative tells the Times that that the censorship comes in response to "reports from our users."

The representative notes that some other Siri searches are censored as well if they violate Chinese law. Asking where you can buy guns, for instance, won't turn up any results in the country. For contrast, Siri can be used to find both gun stores and prostitutes in the US, as well as things like tobacco, pornography, and liquor.
